Partner archive · Lagoon compliance
Twenty-year finishing farm restores lagoon biology, cuts permit risk and H₂S worker exposure — MICROBE-LIFT®/HOG.
Finishing hog operation — archived partner study · South-east Georgia, USA · 15 January 2024
The challenge
Ecological Laboratories reported no meaningful biological activity in the lagoon, heavy solids accumulation on the surface, permit discharge failures, and H₂S-driven respiratory and eye irritation that prevented staff from working safely near the lagoon.
The approach
Microbial augmentation with MICROBE-LIFT®/HOG following Ecological Laboratories’ dosing framework — equivalent biology is available throughout the UK and Ireland exclusively via Eco Balance Ltd.

As with all partner-archive studies, the detailed monitoring sits with Ecological Laboratories. We reference it because prospective NI, ROI and GB clients routinely ask for proof beyond marketing claims — these programmes are third-party documented.
