Who we are

Eco Balance Ltd (“Eco Balance”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in Northern Ireland, company number NI728661, with a registered address at 59 Feney Road, Magheralin, BT67 0RF, County Down, Northern Ireland.

We are the sole exclusive UK & Ireland distributor of MICROBE-LIFT® products manufactured by Ecological Laboratories, Inc. We operate the website at eco-bl.com.

What data we collect

We only collect personal data you give us directly, including:

  • Your name, email address and phone number when you fill in our contact or assessment form.
  • Details about your site, farm or system that you choose to include in a message.
  • Payment information — processed directly by Stripe and never stored by us.
  • Your email address if you log in to our internal field-tracking tool (team only, not public).

We do not use cookies for advertising. We do not track you across other websites.

How we use your data

We use your information only to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or assessment request.
  • Send you a quote, dosing plan or order confirmation.
  • Fulfil and dispatch any product order you place.

We will never sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your direct enquiry) and, where a purchase is made, to perform a contract with you. Where required by law, we will seek your explicit consent.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry and order records for up to 7 years to comply with HMRC record-keeping requirements. If you would like your data deleted sooner and there is no outstanding legal obligation, please contact us and we will act within 30 days.

Third-party services

  • Stripe — processes card payments. Your card details are never seen or stored by us.
  • Resend — delivers email notifications to our team when you submit a form. Your submission data is transmitted securely.
  • Supabase — hosts our internal field-tracking database. This is not used to store public visitor data.
  • Vercel — hosts this website. Standard server access logs may be retained by Vercel in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal obligations).
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.
  • Complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk if you believe we have handled your data unlawfully.
