The Science
We add bacteria to water.
That's it.
People assume there has to be more. There doesn't. Our products are concentrated populations of naturally occurring microbes — the same family of bacteria that already break down nutrient and organic waste in healthy ecosystems.
The principle
Healthy ecosystems already do this.
Stressed ones can't.
In a healthy lake, river or soil, an enormous and diverse population of microbes is constantly breaking down nutrient, organic waste, and dead material. The system stays in balance.
When loading goes up — slurry, septic, industrial discharge, fertiliser runoff — the resident microbial population is overwhelmed. Oxygen drops. The wrong organisms (like cyanobacteria, the source of blue-green algae blooms) take over.
Our role is to restore the missing biology in the right density, fast — so the system can do what it's meant to do again.
What makes it different
Not just any bacteria.
MICROBE-LIFT® is not a single organism or a simple enzyme. It's a proprietary consortium developed over 50 years of excellence in biological solutions for man-made environmental problems. State-of-the-art laboratory testing ensures every batch is pathogen-free and meets strict performance criteria.
15-strain consortium
Photosynthetic bacteria, heterotrophs, chemotrophs, autotrophs and archaea in a single shelf-stable liquid formulation — immediately active on addition.
Aerobic, anaerobic & anoxic
Works across all oxygen conditions simultaneously. From well-aerated surface water to the zero-oxygen depths of a slurry pit or blocked lagoon.
100% natural, non-GMO
No genetically modified organisms. No chemical biocides. Non-toxic, non-pathogenic — safe for fish, livestock, wildlife and the environment.
Multi-stage fermentation
Manufactured through a proprietary multi-stage fermentation process in positive-pressure, HEPA-filtered clean rooms — finished via photosynthetic light growth.
Pathogen-free, every batch
State-of-the-art laboratory testing ensures every batch is clearly monitored to be pathogen-free and meets strict performance criteria. Raw materials quarantined until released. Samples retained for 5 years.
50 years of proven deployment
Deployed across municipal wastewater, farm waste, ecosystem restoration, aquaculture, composting and biogas systems on 5 continents since 1976. Adaptations fine-tune the consortia for effective biological solutions across every application.
Our process
Four phases. One outcome.
Every site we work on follows the same disciplined methodology — whether it's a farm slurry pit or a 100-acre lake.
- 01
Assess
Free site visit. We measure nutrient load, throughflow, volume and the biology already present. No obligation.
- 02
Design
Site-specific dosing schedule. We size products to your volume, consent limits and how you already operate.
- 03
Dose
Apply biology at calculated density. Live microbes begin working immediately on contact — no activation required.
- 04
Measure
Resample, report, refine. We track results with you and adjust if the data says we should. Measurable, repeatable.
What it achieves
Proven outcomes across every application.
Whether applied to farm slurry, open water, industrial wastewater or septic systems, MICROBE-LIFT® delivers measurable, documented results.
What we never do
The lines we don't cross.
- We don't use chemical biocides or algaecides.
- We don't use anything that leaves residues in fish, livestock or food chains.
- We don't promise overnight results — biology takes weeks, not hours.
- We don't dose blind. Every site is sized, scheduled and measured.
- We don't make miracle claims. We sell well-understood biology.
